I have 30+ years of experience in supporting mothers and their families after childbirth. I am a certified Postpartum and Birth Doula through DONA International, a certified Labor Doula through the Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association (CAPPA) and a Certified Lactation Counselor. I also specialize in working with "multiple birth" families.

My duties can change from day to day, as the needs of the family change. A large part of my role is to educate the family by sharing information about the baby's care, breastfeeding and making sure the mother is fed, well hydrated and comfortable. This will make your life easier, less complicated and more peaceful. I can help to coordinate your household to adjust to the babies’ schedules so you can rest, heal faster, and just be one on one with yourself, your partner and your babies. As your postpartum Doula, I will work to help you obtain your goals, I consider myself your professional assistant, and I am unbiased and able to assist you in “your“ choices for your infants care.

On a personal note, I am married and have 6 adult children, (1 set of twins) all natural births and breastfed. I have fourteen precious grandchildren. I consider the birth of a child to be a miracle and one of the most significant events that takes place in a woman's life, and I strive to offer a loving, caring, and supportive environment for my clients and their families.
